In October last year, lovely Gold Coast couple, Noah and Lorrie enlisted us to help bring their dream wedding to life, not just with our photography & cinematography services, but with a fully customised wedding planning service that we now offer to a select and limited number of Puremotion clients.
They had always dreamt of being able to sit under the stars, at their home residence nestled within the Gold Coast hinterlands, in Tallai, under a clear roofed marquee covered in glittering fairy lights and this is exactly what they got – their ultimate ‘Fairy Tale Garden wedding’
With the help of some incredible wedding vendors, who’s work we trust and admire, we were able to bring Noah and Lorrie’s magical wedding dreams to life and wow their guests with a unique and memorable wedding day experience.
Rustic, feminine and pretty were the key features for this outdoor ceremony and reception and suited the bride, Lorrie perfectly. She opted for a colour palette of mixed pinks, whites, golds and lots of fresh greenery all woven together with elegant touches of earthy woods and textured trims giving the décor a real ‘Enchanted garden vibe’
A custom built willow arbour that was dripping with incredible forest like blooms supplied by the extremely talented and highly sought after bespoke wedding florist, Nicole Cooper, Founder/Owner of Stem Designs served as a feature backdrop to the couple during their vowels, cake cutting and dramatic fireworks display later on in the evening.
A clear T Shaped acrylic customised platform was erected the day before by the dedicated crew at Megadecks to sit firmly within Noah and Lorrie’s in-ground pool to give the illusion of a weightless love experienced whilst overlooking the expansive and breathtaking gold coast skyline and ocean in the distance.
The groom, Noah, a true gentleman, stood tall and proud, accompanied by his four loyal groomsmen in sleek black tuxedo’s as he awaited his beautiful bride to walk down the aisle. After following the delicate footsteps of her four stunning bridesmaids, all dressed in a dusty pink, silk draped, floor-length gowns, the stunning bride shyly made her entrance, much to the guest’s great anticipation.
Lorrie’s dress was everything you could ever imagine for a wedding as pretty as this.
A bespoke sweet-heart neckline with intricate embroidery bustier detail by exclusive and luxury bridal gown label; Pronovia’s, she looked like a dream and quite literally took her grooms breath away.
The day was filled with exquisite cuisine, cocktails and refreshments that were hand selected and designed by the masterful and inspiring duo from Anise Catering; Brendan Haras and Remi Sedelaar. These guys offered Noah and Lorrie an incredible hands-on, fully customised service which allowed them them to co-design and create the menu of their ultimate dreams which was filled with an abundance of exotic seafood’s (such as Fresh Merimbula oysters, BBQ local Byron Bay king prawns, scallops and West Australian lobster).
The long banquet style tables were adorned with stunning brass cutlery and rustic plate ware supplied by our friends at Hampton Hire. Tiny wooden name blocks were custom made by Sydney sisters; Willow & Ink Designs.
The night passed by, under the stars as guests enjoyed the delectable food and superb drinks selection being served to them under the clear roof of the impressive marquee supplied by Events in Tents and the mood ramped up to sounds of the up-beat entertainment trio; The Libertines.
This wedding was filled with so much love, laughter and fun – we here at Puremotion would do it all over again if we could and the honour of working with such a sweet and special couple like Noah and Lorrie, made it an experience we will treasure for ever.
