On Wednesday 24th August, something momentous happened here at Puremotion Studio.
Despite the constant downpour of rain from the very onset of the day, nothing was to dampen our spirits as we officially marked the opening of our vibrant new space here in Holland Park, Brisbane. We invited some of our closest friends, family and VIP clientele to join in on this joyful occasion which was the result of a highly anticipated outcome of many long hours, late nights’, and detailed planning executed by Director of Photography Alex Huang and his wife Stella Lee who were both determined to create a place that was reflective of their inspiring work.
Although servicing our clients at the highest possible level for many years now, Alex and his team were proud to be able to officially open the doors to reveal a warm and inviting studio space that encompasses everything Puremotion stands for. Luxury, Impeccable customer service & the ability to capture our clients most precious memories in the form of breathtaking photography and cinematic film.
With the outstanding contributions of some of our industries finest wedding suppliers, we were privileged enough to be able to host a soiree that set us apart from the average ‘soft launch’
Our open air ceilings were adorned with hanging hexagon installations, dripping with luxurious florals and gorgeous greenery, courtesy of Nicole from Stem Design (www.stemdesign.net) & Greg from AV Ideas (avideas.com.au). Vine entwined vintage lightbulbs zig-zagged our rooftop, creating a canopy of vivid textures and worked in beautiful harmony with our already lush, sub-tropical surrounds.
Jo from ‘Cake my Day by Jo’ (www.cakemydaybyjo.com.au) lavished us with a custom made, personally branded chocolate ganache and salted caramel drip towered cake, which was a definite crowd pleaser and visually mind-blowing to say the least.
Brendan and Remy from Anise Catering (www.aniseeventcatering.com.au) were outstanding in their creative delivery and customised canapes that literally wowed our guests from the moment they hit the platters. Every morsel of their delicious menu was eagerly devoured and their skill of combining the freshest and highest quality produce with multiple flavour explosions is exactly why we chose them to cater for our exclusive event.
Last but not least, the soulful sounds of talented local artist Yacob Fonoti from (www.brisbanebands.com.au) filled the studio with a calm ambience and instantly put our guests at ease, allowing us to all enjoy an unforgettable atmosphere filled with excitement, appreciation & optimism for what lays ahead.
With a heartfelt speech made by the man himself, Alex Huang who thanked those who helped bring it all together, guests continued to enjoy an evening filled with love, laughter and lots of fun!
